Diagnostics & Check Engine Lights
A code reader tells you where to start, not what’s wrong. We trace the problem to its cause: a sensor, a wire, a connector, a leak. One customer’s light had been “checked twice” elsewhere before we found the melted wiring behind it.
What’s included
Diagnostics, done right.
- Check engine and warning light diagnosis
- Electrical and wiring faults
- Intermittent problems that come and go
- Running, idling and starting problems
- A clear explanation of the fix and the cost
Questions
Good to know.
Have a question that isn’t here? Give us a call.
Is it safe to drive with the check engine light on?
A steady light usually means get it checked soon. A flashing light can mean the engine is misfiring; slow down and have it looked at as soon as you can.
Another shop said nothing was wrong. Can you look again?
Yes. Intermittent faults often don’t leave a code. Tell us when it happens and we’ll track it down.
